Camera is a device which taught me how to see life around me...
September 10, 2010
it has been a long - and worthwhile - journey...
This will remain one of those precious pics (and moment) for me... I mean, to gets this opportunity to photograph the Merlin/ Gandalf/ Dumbledore /Bramha... of XLRI (all rolled into one:) !!!
Very true. And his mere presence fills the environment with new zeal. Most of the times when we take the field in the evening, may it be football or tennis, he watches budding XLers playing there. Not sure what he feels then, but for me, its great feeling. I can't miss his presence even from 300 feet distance.
One of the greatest teachers/guru for me and many more.. he is a perfect example of what being humane means.... wish him the best of luck and a healthy life on our behalf...
Fr McGrath's lasting advice to us in the 1st week of landing at XLRI was "Less is more", while introducing us to business communication. And that was before we did Fr Jesurajan's course.
Thank you Fr McGrath for giving so much to so many of us, for so long..
When I see this picture, I get the same feeling and knot in my throat that I get when I see an old picture of my father or grandfather or someone who mattered a lot to me!! The man has lived a worthwhile life and has made a positive difference in every interaction. I pray for a long and healthy life for Fr. McGrath!!
remember meeting him once and the experience was highly enriching. With thoughts to develop onself into a community leader, He guided us to think differently.
Though i have never been taught by him, Fr Mc Grath to me has always been an inspiration, a man with tremendous passion and energy. Best wishes Fr. on your birthday!
